Gov. Rick Scott reappoints some Crist picks
Gov. Rick Scott's press office just sent out a flurry of press releases reversing his decision 48 hours earlier to withdrawl all 154 of the pending appointments former Gov. Charlie Crist made to various commissions, boards and panels.
The press release didn't offer a reason for the change of heart. We'll update this space when the press shop let's us know.
In the meantime, here is the list of Scott's re-appointments:
Board of Medicine: Dr. George Thomas, 66, of Bradenton.
Boxing Commission: Leonard Curry, 44, of Jacksonville.
Florida A&M Board of Trustees: Torey Alston, 26, of Fort Lauderdale.
Governor's Mansion Commission: Jane Aurell, 72, of Tallahassee; Adele Graham, 72, of Miami Lakes.
Gulf Coast Community College Board of Trustees: Katie Patronis, 33, of Panama City.
Northwest Florida Water Management District: George Roberts, 47, of Panama City.
Public Service Commission: Eduardo E. Balbis, 38, of West Palm Beach; Ronald A. Brisé, 36, of North Miami; Julie I. Brown, 35, of Tampa; Arthur L. Graham, 46, of Jacksonville Beach.
