Gov. Rick Scott, who has been interviewed by one editorial board in two years, is scheduled to address a statewide group of journalists this summer.

Scott on July 1 is scheduled to address the annual convention for the Florida Press Association/Florida Society of News Editors held at the Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg.

The convention will also feature forum on June 30 for three Republican U.S. Senate candidates: Mike Haridopolos, Adam Hasner and George Lemieux. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, the Democrat seeking re-election, will address the group on July 1.
