The rally at St. Johns County Fairgrounds on Saturday will also feature speeches from Florida CFO Jeff Atwater, Senate President Mike Haridopolos and former state Republican Party Chairman John Thrasher.

A crowd of "thousands" is expected to the event, known officially as the "Forward with the Constitution, Tax Day Tea Party Rally."

"The federal government has grown arrogant and endangers the well-being of all Americans with its wasteful, debt-incurring spending, its $14 trillion dollar debt and job-killing regulations," tea party member Eric West wrote in the press release. "It also directly threatens the freedom of all Americans with unconstitutional mandates and interference in the free-market economy with its bailouts and stimulus and foolhardy attempts to fundamentally transform the United States."
