Happy 10th anniversary to FSU political program
What do Kathy Mears, Slater Bayliss, and Katie Betta have in common? Yes, each is a savvy Republican politico, but each also is a product of FSU's Masters in Applied American Politics & Policy program. Students, faculty, alumni, and community leaders will gather on the 22nd floor of the Capitol for a networking reception celebrating the the 10th anniversary of the graduate program. The reception is at 11:15 a.m.
Florida State University’s Master’s Program in Applied American Politics and Policy began as a single class in the early 1990’s, and later evolved into a complete course of study in campaign management, lobbying, and political media. The program awarded its first degree in the fall of 2001. In its ten-year history, exactly 200 degrees have been awarded to students starting out in politics as well as those returning to school mid-career.
