Harris Cancer Free

U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris, who had surgery last week to remove an ovarian mass, is cancer free, her campaign office said Monday.
Harris, who is running for the U.S. Senate, was informed Monday that a biopsy showed the mass to be benign, the campaign said in a statement. No further tests are required.
"I appreciate all the kind words and prayers leading up to the surgery and throughout my recovery," said the Sarasota Republican in a statement. "Thankfully, I had a good surgeon and a great God."
