Harris responds to Nelson ad
A day after Sen. Bill Nelson started airing his first TV ad in the Senate race, rival Katherine Harris responds.
In a press release, her campaign called the ad "a disingenuous attempt to re-introduce himself to the Florida voters which he has failed to effectively serve during the last six years in the United States Senate."
“With insurance rates spiraling out of control, Florida needs a strong leader who will get results in a fiscally-responsible manner," said Bryan Rudnick, Harris' campaign manager in the release. "Our opponent is a career politician who failed to exert the necessary leadership to protect homeowners during his tenure as State Insurance Commissioner, and who continues to carry out an economic agenda that is harmful to Florida’s interests.”
