Harrison confirms he's looking at Storms' Senate seat but has not made a decision
State Rep. Shawn Harrison confirms he is considering running for the state Senate seat Ronda Storms has just announced that she is vacating.
Harrison said he expects a potentially crowded field, but said he wants to take the long weekend to talk with family, friends and supporters to determine whether it makes sense. He expects he may make a decision sometime in the middle of next week.
"I am considering it," Harrison said. "I'm not going to make any hasty decision."
