Republican insiders are speculating (again) that the dismal fund-raising by Tom Gallagher may lead to his dropping out of the race for governor. But you wouldn't know that from the Gallagher campaign, which just released a "Notes From The Trail" e-letter.

"Thanks again for another great week. We are continuing to build momentum for the last month of the campaign. This is the critical phase in which elections are decided," Gallagher writes.

The e-mail cites the forum this week with Charlie Crist (though no mention of the fan) and the endorsement of the Florida Right to Life. See the letter in comments.
