Here's a poll the Florida Chamber wants Crist to read...

The Florida Chamber of Commerce, supporters of the legislation deregulating large property insurance companies' rates, just released a poll to support the cause.

The poll, taken post-session, found that 60 percent of Florida voters believe Gov. Charlie Crist should sign HB 1171, and only 24 percent disagree. Crist hasn't received the bill yet but recently expressed reservations about it. It has been dubbed the "State Farm bill" by some, who see it as a lure to make the company reconsider its plans to stop writing policies for Florida homeowners.

Additionally, the poll shows that  Crist continues to have high marks from Florida voters, with a 70 percent job approval rating. 58 percent of Republican respondents indicated their support for Crist in the U.S. Senate race, compared to 17 percent for former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio.
