Hillsborough Commissioner Al Higginbotham says no way to Senate run, property appraiser bid
Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham said he has not given a run for the Senate seat being vacated by Ronda Storms a thought and doesn't plan to. So check him off the list of would-be candidates.
"I have never had a consideration for a Senate run, period," Higginbotham said. "I’m flattered that someone would want to float that, but I have never thought about that. I like my job and plan to continue my work as a commissioner."
Same goes for the Property Appraiser's Office, he said.
