Hillsborough commissioner to Scott: Can we talk?
Hillsborough County commissioner Mark Sharpe has penned a letter to Gov. Rick Scott asking him for a full airing of facts and figures about high-speed rail before pulling the plug. The letter, in essence, challenges the governor to apply his business experience toward making the project work in a way that protects taxpayers. The letter appears on the Irreverent View political blog of Chris Ingram, who challenged Sharpe to write it. Here's what Sharpe wrote.
