Skip Campbell's home turf prompted an article from the hometown Miami Herald Wednesday morning, which quoted McCollum campaign manager Phil Vangelakos: ''It's like us sticking our hand in the fire even going there," Vangelakos said.
Copies -- courtesy of the Campbell campaign -- of the story and Vangelakos' quote were waiting for the lawyers at the downtown Hyatt.
As for the questions? The Buzz detected only one real possible plant, when one lawyer asked how McCollum's role in President Clinton's impeachment trial will affect his attorney general's campaign. During the forum, McCollum also agreed to debate Campbell three times before Election Day.
