Neglected to post last week that Republican attorrney general candidate Jeff Kottkamp announced raising over  $270,000 in the last quarter, bringing his total haul to date to over $660,000.

While my opponents are campaigning full-time every  day, I continue to fight for the safety and security of our citizens by supporting legislation  to close down pill mills which are a major contributor to the 6 people who die each day in  Florida from the overdose of prescription drugs. I am also working to save thousands of  aerospace jobs in Florida and to maintain our nation's position as the world leader in space  exploration."

Campaign supporters include some big namesng: Wayne  Huizenga (former owner of the Miami Dolphins), Rich DeVos (current owner of the Orlando  Magic), Ambassador Francis Rooney, Dr. Steve West (immediate Past President of the Florida  Medical Association), Tom Petway (co-founder of the Jacksonville Jaguars), Hjalma Johnson  (Past President of the American Bankers Association), and Gary Morse (Founder of The  Villages).
