Jim Greer's holiday message

RPOF Chairman Jim Greer looks at 2007 in e-mail to supporters:

Season’s Greetings! As we come to the close of 2007 and almost a year since I had the privilege and honor of being elected as the Chairman of our great Party, I have begun to reflect upon the successes of the past year in preparation of a “State of the Party” report, which I will issue at our upcoming annual meeting in February.

Looking back, I am very proud of the initiatives that we, together, have implemented, including providing greater resources to our county RECs, enhancing our communications statewide, establishing an independent minority outreach department with the appointment of the first African American department director, and traveling the state holding our new Headquarters for a Day program.

Additionally, as Chairman I have revised the Party’s organizational structure and implemented various business practices within the day-to-day operations of the Party to make it stronger and more efficient.

I sincerely appreciate the support, loyalty, and friendships that I have developed with each of you. I am confident that, if we continue to work together and remain unified, our Party will continue to grow and Republicans will carry the day in the State of Florida in the upcoming Presidential election!

On behalf of the Republican Party of Florida and Governor Crist, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a safe and prosperous New Year.

With Warmest Regards,
