Karen Diebel marries top House Republican
Former Winter Park Commissioner Karen Diebel married U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, over the weekend in a private ceremony in Washington, the congressman's office said.
"Pete and Karen were delighted to be joined by their families to celebrate their marriage," said Sessions spokeswoman Torrie Miller.
Diebel mounted an unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2010, losing in the GOP primary to Sandy Adams. Sessions headed up the Republican House campaign effort.
