Karl Rove's Crossroads could spend more than $24 million in Florida
Crossroads GPS and American Crossroads, the 501(c)(4) and super PAC started by Karl Rove, have reserved $10.2 million in air time this fall in Florida, a spokesman confirms.
That's on top of the $14.2 million that's already been spent or reserved in the Sunshine State through early August.
All told: $24.4 million.
To put in perspective, it's more than the $20 million Charlie Crist raised for his 2006 election (the state GOP kicked in $40 million to help Crist and other Republicans)
The Crossroads groups have run a series of ads criticizing President Obama or his positions on health care and the stimulus.
