U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris is worth somewhere between $7.8-million and $36.8-million, according to her most recent financial disclosure statement released today by the House.

The estimates are for the 2005 calendar year -- before her father died and before she committed to putting $10-million of her own money to her U.S. Senate campaign.

Harris reported similar numbers the previous year - between $8.7-million and $36.9-million - on the financial statements which allow for ranges rather than specific figures.

Members of Congress were required to turn in financial disclosures by May 15. But Harris' office refused to release them that day unlike some of her colleagues, including Sen. Bill Nelson.

Nelson is worth between $1.8-million and $7.4 million.
