Lee Looking Strong in Mason Dixon
Senate President Tom Lee has bolted to a 19-point lead (42 percent to 23 percent) over state Rep. Randy Johnson in the Republican primary for chief financial officer, according to a Mason Dixon poll released Friday. The poll of 625 likely Republican voters (MOE +/- 4 percentage points) could be a reflection of Lee's TV advertising campaign, which features an endorsement from Gov. Jeb Bush. The winner of the Lee-Johnson race will face Democrat Alex Sink in November.
