A judge ruled Monday that third-party candidate Max Linn can participate in a televised debate tonight with gubernatorial hopefuls Charlie Crist and Jim Davis. It is a major victory - should it stand unchallenged - for Linn, who had been denied access to the forum due to low poll numbers.
Linn and his attorneys, Luke Lirot of Clearwater and Ellis Rubin of Miami, challenged the decision in Broward Circuit Court Monday. "We're not asking a lot," Lirot said. "All they gotta do is pull up a chair and hand him a microphone."
