Mashall Goodman out as USF Poly chancellor
The leader of the embattled University of South Florida Polytechnic campus has been removed from his post.
Chancellor Marshall Goodman, who has been one of the loudest supporters of making the Lakeland campus independent, has been in hot water for months — with students, faculty and a couple of state leaders calling into question his leadership and expenditures.
His departure is effective immediately, USF president Judy Genshaft announced Tuesday.
“I have lost confidence in your ability to lead,” Genshaft wrote in a letter to Goodman.
