McCain-Bush 2008 Ticket?
Gov. Jeb Bush, back after a weeklong vacation in Maine, didn't say no Monday when asked that question. Does that mean the answer may be yes? While the governor has discounted rumors he'll run for president in 2008, he's not said he won't run for vice president.
"I'm happy to be back at work," Bush quipped, when asked if there was any truth to the speculation he'd be Sen. John McCain's 2008 running mate. What does he think of McCain, a reporter asked as a follow up: "I like Sen. McCain. I think he's a good guy."
Then Bush walked away, finally adding: "There's all sorts of time to worry about the 2008 election."
