Mel Martinez, the 'American dream'
During yesterday's rally in Jacksonville, John McCain gave a warm shout-out to Sen. Mel Martinez, calling him the "American dream," then adding:
"All of you know that Mel Martinez came to this country with nothing but the shirt on his back, without his parents, without any money, and he became a Cabinet member and a great United States senator. That's what America's all about, Sen. Mel Martinez."
