Michelle Obama headed to Tampa, Sarasota, Palm Beach on Jan. 26

JANUARY 20, 2012

First Lady Michelle Obama will appear in Tampa next week with the president of Goya Foods as part of her healthy eating initiatives.

She will appear Jan. 26 at National Supermarket with Goya's Bob Unanue, head of the largest Hispanic-owned U.S. food company, which is committing to being a National Strategic Partner for the United States Department of Agriculture in promoting My Plate or Mi Plato.

Later, Mrs. Obama goes to Sarasota for a DNC fundraiser, then another in Palm Beach. Her trip comes as the Republican presidential race shifts to Florida.
