Mitt Romney: Obama and Gingrich right at home in Fantasyland
In advance of Barack Obama's visit to Disney World today, Mitt Romney this morning joined a conference call with U.S. Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart and John Mica to lambast the president's record on jobs and the economy.
“There’s some poetic justice in the president speaking from fantasyland because I’m afraid he’s been speaking in fantasyland for some time now, said Romney. He added that he wouldn't be surprised if in Fantasyland Obama bumps into Newt Gingrich, given the former speaker's own claims about his job creation during the Reagan administration. “I don’t think he was the author of Reaganonmics.”
Diaz-Balart continued with the Disney metaphors, noting that Main Street USA will shut down for Obama's visit - fitting, he said, because Main Streets across the country have been hurting under Obama's watch.
