More than 2.2 million votes in before polls opened
Update: The Department of State just issued a news release saying it over-reported the mail ballot number because of a spreadsheet error. So far, 1,865,229 mail ballots have been REQUESTED, while 1,175,999 have been RETURNED. That makes the total number of votes before Election Day more than 2.2 million.
