Nancy Riley's Realtor Hat
Republican state House 50 candidate Nancy Riley might have to choose whether she wants to be a legislator or president of the Florida Association Realtors. An advisory opinion likely to be approved by the Florida Commission on Ethics says that it would be a conflict of interest to wear both hats. Riley faces Ed Hooper in a GOP primary, the winner of which faces Democrat Candi Jovan in the general election for the mid-Pinellas seat.
