A new lineup of lobbyists
The Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists has chosen a new board of directors for 2007. Elected to three year terms are Wilbur Brewton, Larry Curtin, Candice Ericks, Jim Magill, John Sebree and Victoria Zepp.
FAPL, or "Fapple," as some of its members refer to the group, promotes professionalism and ethics in the lobbying profession. The group in 2006 unsuccessfully sued the Senate, seeking to overturn a law that requires lobbyists to report their income, on the grounds that it constitutes an unwarranted invasion of privacy.
