Next Florida House Speaker on Stand Your Ground
Those hoping the Florida Legislature will repeal Stand Your Ground may want to read this column from today's Tampa Bay Times op-ed page. The incoming Florida House Speaker, Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel, does not seem pre-disposed to do so: "We must not give criminals the upper hand over law-abiding citizens in Florida," he writes.
