NH sneers at Florida
Hillary Clinton courts Century Village seniors in Boca today, in what could be her last strictly campaign appearance before 1/29, thanks to the four early primary states that weirdly control which candidates can step foot in Florida and what they can do. And at the risk of fanning the flames in the budding war between the states, we offer some charming editorial snippets about Florida's primary jockeying in the Foster's Daily Democrat in Dover, NH:
"...Florida has made a cottage industry of mucking up an election. Remember the election for president in 2000? Florida would have stood out again in 2004 had it not been for suspected shenanigans in Ohio....Yes, Florida Democrats are in a box — one of their own shoddy construction. Unfortunately, the politics of the early 21st century makes it easy to get there. We are reminded over and over that what happens in Florida lends itself to polluting the entire process."
