No, Eric, pack your bags
Eric Copeland, the Democratic candidate for agriculture commissioner, worked himself into a froth during the Bill Clinton rally Saturday night in Miami. On and on he went, blasting President Bush, Charlie Crist and his opponent, Charles Bronson.
So long that an organizer stood stage left, trying to signal time up. Copeland kept talking. The man went to the front row, waving at Copeland. But Copeland kept chugging.
"Eric! Eric!," a Jim Davis aide yelled from the side of the stage. No response.
"Pack your bags, it's checkout time at Hotel Florida!" Copeland screamed.
His mouth kept moving but you couldn't hear him. They cut his mic!
