Obama launches 3 new Spanish language ads in Fla
The Barack Obama campaign is launching three new Spanish ads in Florida promoting voter registration and grassroots volunteers.
The one in Tampa Bay features Elena McCullough, a mother of two, a veteran, and a Neighborhood Team Leader with OFA-Florida in the Tampa Bay area. She served in the Coast Guard for twenty-four years and retired as a Lieutenant. She ran for state House two years ago in the district Will Weatherford represents.
The ad airing in the Orlando area features Lynnette Acosta, a mother of two and 2000 graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and is a top Hispanic organizer for the campaign. The south Florida ad features Rodrigo Rio, who is from Ibague, Colombia. He was raised by his parents along with his 6 siblings.He graduated in Computer Science for Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia and worked some years there before moving to South Florida 14 years ago, where he now lives with his wife and three daughters.
