Obama video features Tampa volunteer
Tampa resident Fred Torney, 75, gets a leading role in a new Obama campaign video highlighting voter registration. Torney began registering voters four days a week in March. Once he hit his goal of 100 registrations, he set a new goal of 400. He met that on June 21, and the following day met President Obama and told him he would register 1,000 voters. He recently surpassed that goal.
