Obama's sister speaks in Tampa
Roughly 250 Tampa Bay area women, and a few men, crowded into Mise en Place restaurant in downtown Tampa to see Sen. Barack Obama's sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, on Thursday afternoon.
In an interview before her speech, Soetoro-Ng called her older brother a feminist and a major force in the lives of herself and their mother.
As an example, she said her brother bought her the first women's health book she ever read: Our Body, Ourselves.
It's Soetoro-Ng's first visit to Florida.
