Ohio, the blue and orange state

Now that the Gators have stomped all over Ohio State, Gov. Charlie Crist is eager to get Ohio's governor to make good on the bet they made last week. It was Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland's idea to force the loser to fly the winning state's flag over the governor's mansion for a day.

Crist said Florida will ship an official state flag and a Gator flag to Columbus, Ohio, "and maybe AP or somebody can get a picture of it."

Before Monday's game, Crist said, he called UF Coach Urban Meyer to wish him luck -- and to mention the possibility that Florida might have to fly the Ohio State flag.

"He said, "You're not going to have to worry about that, Governor. We're going to take care of them tonight. I said, "Wow, this guy's great,'^" Crist said.
