Paul Ryan's mom and sis to lead Fla GOTV rally
The Mitt Romney campaign says yesterday's "Super Saturday" marked the " largest voter contact push in the history of the program with nearly 5,000 volunteer shifts and over 13,000 volunteer hours committed. The Republican ground game across Florida continues to build strength, with volunteers reaching 9 million voter contacts, 8 times more phone calls and 56 times more door knocks than this time in 2008."
Tomorrow in Fort Lauderdale, Paul Ryan's mom, part-time Floridian Betty Douglas will make the 9 millionth call in Florida (Would be embarassing if she reached an Obama supporter, but somehow that seems unlikely.) She will be joined by the vice presidential candidate's sister, Janet Ryan Rock.
