Peter Monroe touts progress
U.S. Senate candidate Peter Monroe announced Monday his campaign will soon finish sending a mailing to 1-million Floridians. The Republican also estimates he will raise $1-million by early August.
"Over the past several weeks we have gained phenomenal traction in the race to defeat Bill Nelson,'' Monroe said.
Monroe faces an uphill battle to defeat Rep. Katherine Harris in the September primary. Also running are Orlando lawyer Will McBride and LeRoy Collins, a retired admiral from Tampa.
