PolitiFact Florida: Fact-checking the Tampa debate, looking to Jacksonville debate

The Republican debate in Tampa turned into a sparring match Monday as Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum attacked each other on their records in political office. PolitiFact Florida has been sorting out the competing claims, with fact-checks of Gingrich's contract with Freddie Mac, Romney's record on energy, and Santorum's claim about gas prices and the Florida economy.
