PolitiFact Florida: Fact-checking the TV ad attacking Marco Rubio

A left-leaning political group is running ads on Florida cable attacking Sen. Marco Rubio. The ad makes the case that the Hispanic vote isn’t automatically his for the taking.

"Marco Rubio just might become the first Latino on the presidential ticket," the ad from Presente Action begins. "With the tea party and others attacking immigrants, does Marco Rubio stand with Latinos?"

The ad then makes claims about Hispanic support for the DREAM Act and other immigration policy, which it says are in conflict with Rubio's views. We fact-checked the ad's statements; read the full report and see the ad here
