Poll: Giuliani 49, Clinton 41



That's the Florida result of a Giuliani-Clinton race, according Quinnipiac University latest swing state polls for Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Clinton and McCain tie one another, while Al Gore looks stronger against the Republicans than Barack Obama. More Florida results:

In a Democratic primary matchup, Clinton gets 36 percent, followed by 15 percent for Gore, 13 percent for Obama and 11 percent for John Edwards. Among Republicans, Giuliani gets 38 percent, with 15 percent for McCain, 7 percent for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, 6 percent for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and 5 percent for Thompson.
