Poll: Hillary and Rudy tied in Fl
From a May 11-13 Kitchens Group poll of 600 likely Florida voters (moe +/- 4%): Rudy Giuliani 42 percent, Hillary Clinton 40 percent. The Democratic pollster added the questions to another statewide poll he was conducting and also matched up Fred Thompson and Al Gore: Gore 45%, Thompson 37%.
"The gender gap is the most telling part of this poll," explained Jim Kitchens, founder of The Kitchens Group. "Democratic women are voting for their party’s nominee – whether it’s Clinton or Gore. However, Gore receives nine percent more of the Democratic men’s vote than Clinton."
