Poll: Obama and Romney tied in Duval Co

This is a bad sign for Mitt Romney: He and Barack Obama are tied in Duval County, with 43 percent support each, according to a March 27- April 3 University of North Florida poll of 700 registered voters. More here.

Duval is a Republican stronghold where Democrats have been gaining ground dramatically in recent years. Four years ago, McCain won the county by just 1.9 percent, which shocked plenty of political observers.
