Poll shows Obama up 1, within margin of error
Obama is leading McCain 45-44, says an Allstate/National Journal poll that was in the field Oct. 23-27. That's within the statistical margin of error of 4.9 percentage points for 408 voters polled. Five percent were still undecided.
More voters have decided since the last poll done by Allstate and National Journal, Sept. 11–15, when Obama-Biden and McCain-Palin were tied at 44 percent, with 10 percent of voters undecided.
