Poll:Davis and Smith tied
From the Florida Chamber's new poll:
Jim Davis 42 percent
Rod Smith 38 percent
Other 4 percent
Undecided 14
Conducted by InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Research on Sept. 1-2, 2006, this poll was a phone survey of 300 likely voters in the Democratic primary. It was weighted for age, race, gender and geographic distribution with a sampling error of plus or minus 6 percent.
The Florida Chamber poll released on Aug. 28 had Davis at 36 percent, Smith at 27 percent and undecideds at 28 percent.
