Press barred from Rick Scott speech
Bizarre report from Jeremy Wallace at the Herald-Tribune: Gov. Rick Scott was in Charlotte County to speak to the Charlotte County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day Fundraiser. But what he had to say to the GOP was kept secret from the media. Chris Constance, chairman of the Lincoln Day fundraiser, rescinded media invitations to listen to the speech just minutes before the governor arrived, with no explanation.
