Putnam opposed civil rights restoration
Republican agriculture commissioner candidate Adam Putnam said on Political Connections on Bay News 9 this weekend that had he been on the Cabinet in 2007, he would have joined Bill McCollum in voting against making it easier for felons to have their civil rights restored. Here's a clip from the show in which he invokes disgraced financier Allen Stanford, whose firm's PAC contributed to Putnam and several other members of Congress from Florida, including Bill Nelson, Kendrick Meek, Vern Buchanan, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, and Robert Wexler. The full interview is available on Ch. 342, Bay News 9 on Demand.
