Ray Sansom on grand jury: 'I always enjoy talking to citizens'
UPDATE 6:25 p.m.: The grand jury will return at 10 a.m. The 18-member panel instructed State Attorney Willie Meggs to draft some documents. Meggs would not say what direction the jurors want to head but added, "We've got some work to do."
Rep. Ray Sansom just emerged from the courtroom and was asked how it went. "It's good," he said after an hour and 20 minutes of testimony before the grand jury.
"I always enjoy talking to citizens," Sansom said, walking briskly with his lawyer, Peter Antonacci. He then boarded a third-floor elevator and rode to the ground floor alone. (more photos below)
