The Real Freddie Pitts Speaks
Freddie Pitts, the man at the center of the tense back-and-forth between the Davis and Smith camps, went on Jim DeFede's radio program Thursday morning to discuss the case, ending the interview by saying Smith owes him an apology. UPDATE: Smith campaign put out a statement by state Sen. Frederica Wilson: "Jim Davis' vote against justice for Pitts and Lee, his continuing failure to admit he was wrong, and his refusal to apologize make me deeply concerned about his fitness for office."
