RFK Jr. will keynote Crist climate summit
The governor's office says Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of the late former attorney general and presidential candidate, will deliver a keynote address at the upcomign Climate Change Summit on July 12 and 13 in Miami.
In a statement, Crist said Kennedy "brings with him a passion for preserving our globe for future generations and for political and business leaders to address the challenges of global warming."
Kennedy prosecutes polluters and is founder and president of Waterkeeper Alliance, a grassroots advocacy organization. He has written a book, Crimes Against Nature, that calls George W. Bush "America's worst environmental president," and in a lengthy Rolling Stone article last year, he questioned whether the Republicans stole the 2004 presidential election in Ohio.
