Richburg wants job back at NW Florida State
The trustees of Northwest Florida State College voted today to pursue "mediation" with Bob Richburg, who was fired after being indicted along with Rep. Ray Sansom, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.
The move comes after Richburg's attorney Chris Kise sought an administrative hearing to contest the dismissal. In addition to firing Richburg, the trustees also voted last month to abandon the $6 million airport building at the heart of the indictments.
On Wednesday, the grand jury will hear new evidence collected by State Attorney Willie Meggs. Background here.
