Rick Perry is in, and may soon get help in Florida

rickperry.jpgRick Perry this afternoon in South Carolina officially joined the race for the GOP presidential nomination. And you could soon hear more about him in Florida. A super PAC linked to his associates has been set up and will likely finance ads in the state.

Jobs For Florida was established in late June (along with Jobs for Iowa and Jobs for South Carolina) by a former aide to Mitt Romney. Originally, reports linked the PACs to Romney but that's not the case. Jobs for Iowa already paid for a pro-Perry spot (see video in jump) there and there's talk that the Florida group could get rolling soon.

Who will Perry snag in Florida? Not Sally Bradshaw, according to a tweet by Beth Reinhard, former Miami Herald ace now with National Journal.
